It looks like Kumail Nanjiani is becoming the next go-to guy for “man gets in over his head” stories. We recently saw him star in the middling, though entertaining Stuber, and now, his latest comedy has him starring alongside Issa Rae as the two are forced to solve a murder in order to clear their names in The Lovebirds.

Paramount Pictures just released the full trailer for the film, along with a poster. As you can tell, this looks to be a fun movie in the vein of Date Night or Game Night, where couples get caught up in some real-world murder and mayhem.

“A couple (Issa Rae & Kumail Nanjiani) experiences a defining moment in their relationship when they are unintentionally embroiled in a bizarre crime. As their journey to clear their names takes them from one extreme – and hilarious – circumstance to the next, they must figure out how they, and their relationship, can survive the night.”
