Opening 20 Minute Description For The Mandalorian and Grogu
‘Text on the screen talks about The Mandalorian and Grogu’s work in the Outer Rim as remnants of the Empire survive under the New Republic.
We then cut to a board room where a character says, “I think we can all agree that things were better under the Empire.” He then promises support to a group surrounding the table, getting them to recite “Long live the Empire” before saying he’s raising the tribute they owe him.
A man says that the tributes are becoming too high given the state of trade routes. He is shot and killed with a blaster.
A perimeter alarm starts going off, and a snowtrooper is blasted and killed. We see a mouse droid zoom by as other snowtroopers investigate and are taken out.
We watch The Mandalorian fight troopers through the perspective of the mouse droid. The Mandalorian enters the board room, killing more snowtrooper, including one he burns with a flamethrower.
The man who spoke at the table escapes through an elevator, and The Mandalorian chases after him.
Grogu lifts the mouse droid with the Force and dismantles it in the air. He watches a wheel roll away and babbles.
A snowtrooper arrives on an AT-ST before getting off to investigate. Grogu hides behind a wall and, as he is about to be discovered, Din boards the AT-ST and blasts the trooper. The snowtrooper is obliterated.
Din asks, “What are you waiting for? Hop on,” and Grogu leaps onto the AT-ST. They then run down the side of a snowy mountain before skidding to a halt when they coming upon a group of AT-ATs. The man from the board room is in one of the AT-ATs.

Din and Grogu run through the legs of the AT-ATs dodging blaster fire. The Mandalorian, holding Grogu, then uses his jet pack to leap off the AT-ST before it gets crushed. He uses explosive charges to destroy the leg of an AT-AT.
We see a collection of snowtroopers arming up in a hallway before The Mandalorian enters and takes them out one by one. The hallway action sequence is evocative of a “Daredevil” fight, all completed in one unbroken shot.
The Mandalorian destroys another AT-AT and knocks troopers off a cliff. He then boards the last remaining AT-AT, which is now on autopilot. The man from the board room uses an escape pod and leaves explosive charges behind.
The Mandalorian tries to line up a shot to kill the man as Grogu urges him to leave before the explosion. Din succeeds in destroying the escape pod and flies out at the last moment, boarding a ship flown by Zeb at the last moment.
“You know, it’s better if you bring him in alive,” Zeb says. “You see, you catch the bad guy, and they tell us where the other bad guys are.”
“Things went a little sideways,” Din responds before the title card appears onscreen with Ludwig Görannson’s “The Mandalorian” theme.
The trio returns to a New Republic base as opening credits appear on screen. They enter a building and Zeb wishes Din good luck: “You’re gonna need it.”
Din and Grogu approach Sigourney Weaver’s character, Ward, who reproaches him for being messy. She says they need information and he keeps killing informants. Din drops a card on the table and tells her that he will clear out everyone in her deck. Grogu tries to use the Force to steal a snack and she stops him.
Ward pays Din with a Razor Crest ship similar to the one from the original show. She wants Din to find another bad guy and tells him to go to Nal Hutta to get information. In return, Din needs to rescue the Hutt twins’ nephew, Rotta the Hutt (or “Stinky,” played by Jeremy Allen White), Jabba’s last remaining heir. Din says he doesn’t work for gangsters anymore, and Ward says that this is different.
Zeb says he’ll let Din fly on this mission as Din continues expressing resistance to go. Grogu jumps up and down on a chair giggling. Din gets in the cockpit while Grogu starts pushing random buttons. “Never touch the buttons,” Din says, putting Grogu in a seat (with a seatbelt).
They take off as the score swells. The footage ends as they jump into hyperspace.’
