The Mandalorian: Check Out This Ode To Baby Yoda Set To Hamilton’s ‘Dear Theodosia’

Even if you haven’t been watching The Mandalorian, chances are you’ve at least been exposed to his adorable face, as he’s become the subject of countless memes online. Anecdotally, I also know some folks who weren’t even interested in The Mandalorian became much more intrigued once they realized Baby Yoda played a role.

Because the internet is the internet, there was bound to be a whole bunch of creative people taking advantage of this character, and that’s exactly what’s happening here. One new interesting take comes in the form of a song from The Ringer, which is set to Hamilton’s “Dear Theodosia.”

In the musical Hamilton, the song sees Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton welcoming their respective children into the world, singing their praises and talking about all the things they’d do for them. As you can see, this is a good fit for the relationship between El Mando and Baby Yoda.

For reference, here is the original song from the musical.
