The Many Saints Of Newark Drops A New Trailer

The Many Saints of Newark has a lot of people excited. This feature film from Warner Bros. Pictures serves as a prequel to the fan-favorite series, The Sopranos. In the film, they are going to have the opportunity to see the creation and rise of one Tony Soprano. Today, WB released a second trailer that you can check out down below! Also, be sure to check out the new poster that was released with the trailer.

In this second trailer for The Many Saints of Newark, we see that Dickie Moltisanti, played by Alessandro Nivola, sort of taking Anthony, played by Michael Gandolfini under his wing. This of course includes teaching him the criminal ways. We also get a few shots of Dickie visiting his father in prison, who is played by Ray Liotta.

The Many Saints of Newark

Here is the synopsis for The Many Saints of Newark provided by Warner Bros. Pictures:

Young Anthony Soprano is growing up in one of the most tumultuous eras in Newark’s history, becoming a man just as rival gangsters begin to rise up and challenge the all-powerful DiMeo crime family’s hold over the increasingly race-torn city. Caught up in the changing times is the uncle he idolizes, Dickie Moltisanti, who struggles to manage both his professional and personal responsibilities—and whose influence over his impressionable nephew will help make the teenager into the all-powerful mob boss we’ll later come to know: Tony Soprano.

With the popularity of The Sopranos, I believe this film is going to do well. It also doesn’t hurt that it has a fantastic cast. Let us know what you thought of the trailer down below!

Warner Bros. Pictures The Many Saints of Newark will be in theaters on October 1st, 2021. As well as on HBO Max for 31 days.
