The Studio Puts Maximum Effort In Their Deadpool Dream Suite At The Hard Rock Hotel | SDCC2018

EDITOR’S NOTE: Please forgive the vertical video…Manny knew not what he did…

Back in February of 2016 20th Century Fox took what was then considered a risk to release a rated “R” comic book film. To everyone’s surprise, Deadpool exceeded expectations and it was only a matter of time before a sequel would be made, which we got this past May in theaters.

Now 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is gearing up for the release of Deadpool 2 Super Duper $@%!#& Cut, which will premiere on digital August 7th and 4K ultra HD & Blue-ray August 21st. This cut is going to include 15 minutes of brand new footage. To promote this release 20th Century Fox along with Vudu Movies & TV gave their maximum effort at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con with a very special activation that was available to one lucky grand prize winner.

They took the most expensive suite at The Hard Rock Hotel and turned it into Deadpool and Blind Al’s apartment. LRM Online had the opportunity to tour the suite during the show. The suite included everything from a ton of Deadpool’s drawings, half-finished Ikea furniture, tons of pop culture references (including a copy of Green Lantern on DVD). The room was put together so well that I felt like Wade Wilson was going to walk in at any moment.

The winner of the Deadpool Dream Suite contest was allowed to stay there on Saturday night. We were not given access to the bedroom as it was for the winner only. Check out the video above as well as the photos below!
