It’s no secret that Marvel Studios is developing roughly half a billion projects. Given the large catalog of characters they have at their disposal — which has only increased in size since Disney has acquired 20th Century Fox. So if you were to guess if a particular character was going to be in a project currently in development, chances are you’d be correct.

One such character that was reported to be in development at some level was Nova. This was back in May, so you’d imagine they would have made some headway by now, and as it turns out…yes, they have.

MCU Cosmic is reporting that Nova is one of the characters that will be a big player in Phase 5 alongside the likes of Blade, the Fantastic Four, and the Mutants. There is no word on when it would hit specifically, but they speculate that it could be relatively early on in the Phase.

Nova was introduced back in 1976 in the comic called The Man Called Nova and was created by Marv Wolfman and John Romita Sr.
