According to The Hollywood Reporter Chris Pratt will join the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder. While I assume this news shocks no one, it is great to have it confirmed.

The chemistry between Pratt and Hemsworth in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Much of this was fueled by the Guardians’ infatuation with Thor, which Star-Lord seemed to be a bit jealous over. Seriously though, I would watch a Star-Lord/Thor sitcom if one was produced. Their scenes are some of my favorite of the last two Avengers film, and probably within the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole.

It shouldn’t be long now before Christian Bale’s mystery role is revealed. Many fans speculate he will be playing the character Beta Ray Bill. Cul Borson and Balder are some other characters he could possibly be playing,. No matter who he ends up playing, it’s nice to have Bale as part of the MCU. I think he is still one of the more versatile actors around and will likely be memorable in the role.

Pratt joins an already stellar cast that includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster to become Mighty Thor, Tessa Thompson returns as Valkyrie, and as mentioned above Christian Bale in an unknown role.
