We have yet another addition to The Mandalorian Season 2. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Timothy Olyphant, will be joining what is already a stellar cast. Olyphant is perhaps best known for playing the fastest gun, ever, Raylan Givens on Justified.

With the series having a very western-in- space feel to it, Olyphant should have no problem fitting in. Having played the sharpshooting southern U.S. Marshal on Justified, as well as starring in the HBO western series, Deadwood.  I’m a fan of both shows, and they’re the reason I’m a fan of Olyphant (also loved his Danny Cordray character on The Office).

Wow, the casting department of The Mandalorian deserves a raise. They are not playing around

Olyphant is the newest of recent casting additions that include Temuera Morrison and Katee Sackoff. Of course, the question now is, who could Olyphant be playing? Surely it’s a character that’s handy with a blaster, right? Or will Favreau and Filoni throw us for a loop and have him play a Force user?
