Like him or not, Tom Cruise is a one-of-a-kind action star. No one else puts the same physicality into a role, risking life and limb on incredible stunts just to give a feeling of realism that CGI can’t replicate.
One of the stunts in this July’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout involves a helicopter. Though this stunt is also featured on the official domestic poster for Fallout, the new Japanese poster has it front and center. And totally in your face, taking Cruise to new heights!
This poster is certainly more in line with the two best versions of the posters for Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, each featuring the film’s main stunt front and center. I say “main stunt” because Cruise isn’t happy with just one death defying feat per film these days, is he?

I’m really looking forward to Fallout, coming from the writer/director of the second best Mission: Impossible film, Christopher McQuarrie. Cruise, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin, and Ving Rhames all return from previous entries in my favorite spy franchise (sorry, 007, old chap). Joining them is Henry Cavill’s infamous mustache!
Mission: Impossible – Fallout jumps from a helicopter into theaters on July 27, 2018.
