Toy Story 4 Villain Described As A Don Corleone Type

The fourth installment into the very popular Toy Story franchise is set for release in a few months. Many questioned why Disney and Pixar would dare tarnish the perfect trilogy they had created with the first three films in the series, though this entry is shaping up to be as good or better than the three films that came before it.

One of the more interesting new characters in the upcoming film is the villain Gabby Gabby, voiced by actress Christina Hendricks, who director Josh Cooley says is reminiscent of a famous mafia boss, Don Corleone. You can check out what he had to say below.

“She can just tell her henchmen of ventriloquist dummies to do her bidding for her, and they do. She’s like the Godfather, where she doesn’t really have to do much to do a lot.”

Toy Story is a franchise with arguably the most consistent level of quality of any in cinema, and the folks over at Pixar would likely have to be sure they could continue with such quality to risk putting a black mark on the franchises good name, so it’s likely we’re all in for another great animated film full of talking toys.

Toy Story 4 hits theaters on June 21, are you ready?
