Trailer Drops For Robert Kirkman’s ‘Invincible’ From Amazon Studios

Today Amazon Prime Video released the first official trailer for their upcoming animated series, Invincible. The series comes from the mind of the creator of the fan-favorite post-apocalyptic series The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman. It is his second-longest-running comic book series. The first three episodes are set to be released on Friday, March 26th. Then a new episode a week, which will culminate in a season finale on April 30th. You can check out the trailer below!

OFFICIAL TRAILER FOR THE AMAZON ORIGINAL INVINCIBLE

Here is the official synopsis for Invincible provided by Amazon Prime

From The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, and based on the Skybound/Image comic of the same name by Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible is an hour-long, adult animated superhero show that revolves around seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age — except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.

Invincible will star Walking Dead alumni Steven Yeun, and everyone’s favorite J. Jonah Jamison, J.K. Simmons. Joining them on the cast will be Sandra Oh, Seth Rogen, Andrew Rannells, Zazie Beetz, Mark Hamill, Walton Goggins, Jason Mantzoukas, Zachary Quinto, Mahershala Ali, Melise, Kevin Michael Richardson, Gray Griffin, and Khary Payton.

I like Amazon Studios’ approach to comic book properties. First with The Boys and now with Invincible. Definitely setting themselves apart from anything being done by DC or Marvel. What do you think of the official trailer for Invincible? Let us know in the comment section below!
