Train to Busan is a Korean zombie movie directed by Yeon Sang-ho.
Like many zombie movies, the film features a zombie outbreak that encompassed the entire peninsula of South Korea. During the initial outbreak, passengers struggled for survival on the train from Seoul to Busan. They realized the real horrific threats may not be from the zombies, but the humans around them.
In this episode of Binge Watch, writers Gig Patta and Emmanuel “Manny” Gomez revisited the 2016 film Train to Busan in anticipation of its sequel Peninsula. Train to Busan is currently streaming on Amazon Prime and Netflix today.
The sequel Peninsula has a theatrical release date this Friday, August 21. A non-spoiler review of Peninsula will be on this site on Thursday.
