Imagine being trapped in your apartment for weeks, because there’s a dangerous contagion outside your door. For many of us, it’s too real.
For the zombie pandemic film Alone, the story revolves around a young man who is trapped in his apartment for days and weeks after a zombie virus outbreak in his apartment complex. Unable to leave, he struggles for food, sanity, and survival.
The film stars Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf), Summer Spiro (Westworld), and Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games series, Invasion of the Body Snatchers). Johnny Martin (Vengeance: A Love Story) directed the movie from a script penned by Matt Naylor (What’s It Like, #Alive).
Here’s the official synopsis:
One morning, lonely surfer Aidan (Tyler Posey) awakens to find that a global pandemic has turned most of humanity into bloodthirsty zombies. Just as he’s ready to give up hope, Aidan spots his attractive neighbor Eva (Summer Spiro) across his apartment complex’s courtyard, and soon the two become “socially distant” friends. Trying to find a way to rescue her, Aidan confronts an eccentric neighbor (Donald Sutherland), who could be their salvation—or downfall.
Alone is the English adaptation of this story. Currently, playing on Netflix, #Alive, is the Korean adaptation of the story. Both stories are from Matt Naylor.
