The Fast and Furious franchise became far more interesting to me when the focus shifted from street racing to the adventures of a vigilante crew. I know going into a Fast film that I am in for wildly over-the-top action and pure popcorn entertainment, and if you go in with this mindset, you’ll have a good time.
Fast cast member Tyrese Gibson has taken the over-the-topness (pretty sure that’s a word) to the next level, saying, albeit jokingly, that the Fast crew could take out The Avengers. You can check out what he had to say during a recent interview with ComicBook.com below.
“I think we could, I was just on with Robert Downey Jr. two days ago and I told him that I got special powers in this movie and we need to come see him. Nah, I’m just playing, but I think it’s all entertainment man. You know? I think if you buy a bucket of popcorn, especially large with the extra butter, and you don’t finish your popcorn by the end of the movie, you were not entertained.”

This could be an interesting What if, would you all agree? I mean sure, Iron Man or even Falcon alone could take out the Fast crew if necessary, and they’re just humans with cool suits, so you can imagine how quickly Thor, Hulk, or any of the powered members of the Avengers could dispose of them. Perhaps instead of facing off against each other, there could be a What If? where they team up?
Is there any way at all the Fast crew could defeat the Avengers? Let us know in the comments down below!
