“Fortune favors the bold.” PlayStation released the Uncharted official trailer after part of the trailer was leaked. The official trailer looks pretty good. From PlayStation Productions and Sony Pictures, Uncharted will be the prequel to the video game series.
The synopsis of Uncharted:
Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.

Comingsoon.net covered the scene leak that came out October 20. The trailer has action scenes, a few Spider-Man skills from Tom Holland, and a bit of humor. They also have a little The Goonies moment and I just had to use that image. Some fans in the comments are wondering where Drake’s mustache is, though. If they make a second Uncharted movie, maybe Holland will grow one out then.
The movie, Uncharted, also stars Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas. Gabrielle is known for her roles in The 100 and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She was also in the TV series, You. Sophia Ali was in the TV series, Grey’s Anatomy. Banderas will be starring in Indiana Jones 5, but release date been pushed back to 2023. Uncharted is directed by Ruben Fleischer and the screenplay is written by Art Marcum, Rafe Judkins, and Matt Holloway. Check out Uncharted exclusively in theaters on February 18.
