VisionQuest showrunner Terry Matalas remains coy on what’s next for him working with Marvel Studios. Matalas is doing a lot of press right now to promote VisionQuest which made it’s Disney+ debut this week with double episode. So far it seems fans who have watched the first two and critics who have watched the full series are full of praise. So far, in between the two and watching with fans I’ve been less impressed. Not to say I’m not enjoying it, but I do hope it improves as it goes.
Speaking with ScreenRant Matalas, as said above wasn’t willing to give many details when asked what next?
“I can’t really talk about too many things. I would love nothing more than to keep playing in the sandbox,” he teased. “Vision and Ultron and the Maximoff family are part of my DNA now. They’re part of my beating heart.”
“There are other characters who are super meaningful to me in the MCU as well, so I would love nothing more than to continue to work with Marvel. It is and continues to be an incredible collaboration with everyone over there.”

Matalas was then suggested an Avengers: The Children’s Crusade project by the interviewer,
“Look, that’s up to the Marvel guy. I would love nothing more than to do something like that. I would love that. As long as the rest of the family could come along, and that may include Ultron. Again, there’s nothing [in the works], but I would love it.”
I’ll reserve judgment on whether I want to see Matalas continue until my final end of Season review of VisionQuest. However, as I did point out, those who have seen it all seem very happy.
What did you think of VisionQuest and would you like to see this story continue? Thoughts below.
