The WandaVision Episode 8 runtime has been revealed and it looks to be the longest episode yet. Episode 7’s runtime was revealed by a source on Reddit’s MarvelStudiosSpoilers sub. This was verified by the mods on that sub and true enough, come Friday it was bang on. Now this same source, again verified by the mods has stated that WandaVision Episode Runtime is 47 minutes.
Episode 5 was the previous longest episode. At 42 minutes Episode 5 was certainly one of the most revealing episodes of WandaVision thus far. I guess fans expect something similar for Episode 8, given how the previous episode aired. Now that the Agatha All Along tune is stuck in everyone’s head, I’d to see the events from a different perspective. Will Vision, Monica, Darcy, and maybe even Pietro team up to try and save Wanda from whatever Agatha is up to? Who will be the mystery character everyone is waiting for? It’s worth remembering that we have two installments left, and for all we know Episode 9 could be longer than 8. However, it’s a good bet that with a 47 minute runtime (including credits), Episode 8 will reveal a lot more about what is going on in Westview.
I hope Episode 8 shows events from Agatha’s point of view, interspersed with what she is doing now. Then by the end, perhaps Vision has awakened enough people to join with Monica to try and help Wanda and end this. That would leave us with a finale showdown for Episode 9. Perhaps the idea is to keep Agatha more mysterious still? Maybe the ‘Agatha All Along’ credits are all we will get showing us what Agatha has been up to? So far, we know almost nothing of what Agatha’s motivations are here, so there is a lot to come. I definitely foresee some more players on ‘team Agatha’ coming forward at this point. Dottie and whoever Ralph really is seem likely candidates.
What a great show WandaVision has been, let’s hope Episode 8 and 9 can provide the perfect ending. What do you think of this WandaVision Episode 8 runtime? As always leave any thoughts below.
