WandaVision Gets Groovy In Latest Episode| Reaction Non Spoilers

After the first two episodes of WandaVision took us through the 50’s and 60’s of television sitcom the third episode continued our time travel experience and gave us the 70’s.  While the reactions to the first two episodes were mixed I am going to say that more fans will appreciate this episode.  Without going into to much detail lets recap some of the highlights of this episode.

At the end of the second episode we saw Wanda’s world transform once again into a 70’s tone and also now in color.  The episode kept its tone to the classic sitcoms of the 70’s with The Brady Bunch tone taking over the majority of the episode.  This episode references back to a classic Brady Bunch episode where the kids are trying to hide a surprise from the parents.  The surprise in this episode is Wanda’s sudden pregnancy that we saw at the end of the second episode.

Overall this episodes main focus was dealing with Wanda’s pregnancy and keeping it from the neighbors.  But as the episode goes on we can see that whatever is keeping Wanda and Vision in this pretend world is now starting to crack.  While the first two episodes were heavy on the television sitcom with little tidbits of suspense this episode was more evenly split. What really stood out from this episode is Teyonah Parris performance as Monica Rambeau and her interactions with Wanda. While her appearance still remains a mystery as how she fits in the Wandaverse.

The future of WandaVision is setting up for Wanda and Visions to have a not so happy ending. While the first couple episodes feature Wanda and Vision having the American Dream, their house and settings are starting to act really strange.  I really enjoyed the balance of this episode and look forward to the next transformation which should be the 80’s.
