WandaVision We Interrupt This Program| Reaction Non Spoilers

WandaVision

This episode of WandaVision felt like it was the missing puzzle piece that we all have been looking for.  I am going to try my best not to put any spoilers in this piece but it is going to very difficult.  If you are like me and have watched the first three episodes of WandaVision feeling like something was missing from them this episode will fix all of that.  After watching this episode, I went back and watched the first three episodes again to add everything together.

In a change of pace this episode broke away from its traditional sitcom format and focused what was going on in the rest of the world.  We are introduced to some new characters on the show but not to the MCU.  It seems that Wanda and Vision have been living in plain sight but at the same time hidden from the rest of the world. All of the events from the previous three episodes that were out of place like the call over the radio, the toy helicopter, and the bee man.  Even the knocking noises outside the home of Wanda and Vision are now explained.  It looks like we will either continue with the current formula of three sitcoms and then a reality episode or the show will start to blend with reality and fantasy.

One of my favorite parts of this episode was dealing with the aftermath of what is known as “The Blip”.  With so many people coming back from the vanishing, Endgame didn’t really have time to deal with that issue.  Spider-Man: Far From Home dealt with the aftermath for a brief moment but this episode shows that coming back from the dead wasn’t that easy to deal with.

This episode of Wandavision starts to clear up some of the questions we had before, but there is something definitely wrong in Westview.  It seems that everything is pointing to Wanda but is it her doing or is she being manipulated some way.  Now that we have a better understanding of what is going on in this show I am excited to see what is going to happen to Wanda and Vision. The last thing I loved about the episode was the end credit song with Jimi Hendrix “Voodoo Child”. It fit perfect in the end of the scene.

The new featurette offers a look behind the scenes and a glimpse at what’s to come in Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision,” a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
