USA Today just released a new behind-the-scenes video for the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
In the new video, we get to see just how much this Star Wars franchise means to director Rian Johnson, and it’s clear that it means just as much to him as it does to all of us fans. From there, we get some amazing behind-the-scenes footage from the film cut together with compliments from the cast of the film, including Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Gwendoline Christie, and Carrie Fisher.
“There’s the weird thing that happens when it’s being built, and when you first show up on it,” Johnson says in the video. “You’re kind of overwhelmed by it all, and then you get into the nitty-gritty of working on it. And naturally, that level of it goes away, and you find yourself just focused on making the scene work, getting the shots. And once in a while, you’re taking a little break and sitting back, and sitting back, and you look around, and you get the ‘holy crap’ moment again. Concentrated works split up by ‘holy craps.’”
