Westworld Creators Release 25-Minute Video Detailing Season 2 Plot

HBO seems to be the master of modern serialized television. Between Game of Thrones and the new Westworld series, they specialize in putting audiences on the edge of their seats and leaving them hungry for answers. The results? Countless articles of speculation for the impending season have popped up, but the creators of the series seem to have made them all moot.

Last night, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy — the co-showrunners of Westworld — took to Reddit to make a bold proclamation. They try to circumvent spoilers altogether by putting together a video that would detail the entire plot of Season 2. We all had a few laughs and then moved on with our lives. No way they’d go through with it.

And then a 25-minute video dropped on HBO. I clicked on it with trepidation. It started out…and as promised, it seemed to walk through the plot of the entire season. In one fell swoop, they managed to just get ahead of it all and make any speculation completely pointless. Is this the right move? Only you, the fans, can decide.

Actually, hang on…just hit the 90-second mark, and something isn’t right. There’s a woman in modern clothes playing at the piano, and another singing. What’s that song…? I know that song? Leave your guesses down below!
