So The Wheel of Time Season 3 has wrapped filming, or has it? Plus we have some Season 3 casting news to share as well. Let’s start with Season 3 filming as actress Priyanka Bose posted on Insta that Season 3 was a wrap. Check it out below courtesy of a fan account on X/Twitter.

Now given showrunner Rafe Judkins is in these images it’s sure looks like a wrap. However, it seems this is only a warp for the Prague location shooting. As suggested by WOTSeries, we think there are still some shooting days planned in South Africa.
Another actor confirmed he had left Prague filming recently on social media. However, that could be a spoiler for show only fans, so not sharing that one.
As the outlet indicates below, we don’t know exactly when the South African shoot picks up, but it’s soon because sets are being built on location.
‘It is currently unknown when filming will commence in South Africa, though “summer” was mentioned as a rough time frame by hair and makeup designer Davina Lamont on a social media post. (Note: As a reminder, it is currently spring in the Southern hemisphere.) Given Rafe Judkin’s mention of Rhuidean during NYCC (in addition to our reporting on Couladin’s audition), South Africa will likely be home to filming scenes involving the Aiel.’

Next up we have some casting news. WOT Up has revealed that Jaichim Carridin will be played in Season 3 by Jared Doreck (Carnival Row). Now, be careful if you check the video out below. About a quarter way through the talk turns to fill book spoilers and they get into the details of this character. For show watchers only, all you need to know for now is that he is a new Whitecloak we haven’t met yet.
