Will The Third Season Of Daredevil Have Any Crossovers?

With the release of the next season of Daredevil right around the corner, a lot of questions have been asked about the possible appearance of any of their other characters from the MCU Netflix shows. Since Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist got to work together in The Defenders the thought is that we will get to see more of them in each others series.

For example in the second season of Luke Cage, Danny Rand played by Finn Jones joined Luke, played by Mike Colter for what seemed to be a tease for a possible future Heroes for Hire series. Now the question is if the third season of Daredevil was going to include any crossover. ScreenRant was able to get the answer from Daredevil‘s showrunner Erik Oleson during a set visit.

“I wanted it to be standalone, I did not do crossovers this season. I wanted to really get back to these core characters and use the real estate to focus on who they are and really fleshed them out before I introduced external and other elements of the MCU, at least on the Netflix/Marvel side – I really wanted to get back to the core characters and tell a character-driven season.”

Although we are not getting any major cameos in this next season of Daredevil, Oleson did not rule out all connections to the MCU. But it will be great to see them focus completely on Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox and his battle for Hell’s Kitchen.
