Wonder Woman 1984 – New Poster Will Take You Back To The 80s, Like, Totally To The Max

It appears that the DC universe has finally found it’s footing. Yes, Justice League wasn’t the studios best effort, but films like Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and most recently Shazam! have put the studio on the right track. While the studio, and fans, still have high hopes for Joker which comes later this year, the sequel to the film that more or less righted the ship, Wonder Woman, draws closer and closer.

Today we get a gnarly new retro poster for Wonder Woman 1984 from DC Universe Twitter account. The poster definitely puts off an 80s vibe with that totally tubular text the decade is known for. You can check out the poster below.

As long as Joker lives up to expectations, Wonder Woman 1984 should have no problem delivering a worthy sequel can keeping the string of good films by DC intact. Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot seems to have a chemistry, the result of which plays out very well on screen. Jenkins is a fantastic director who did the iconic superheroine justice in the first film, and I see no reason why she would stray from the path she began on.

Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters June 5, 2020.
