Among those involved in making of Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend are the producers, Jenna Millman and Juan Camilo Cruz Orrego. Both former Emmy award-winning filmmakers. They had previously worked together for The Boy from Medellin and today they bring us the boy from Rosario, Argentina. I had the opportunity to speak to Millman and Cruz Orrego about now getting to bring us Messi’s story and how they managed to get us viewers to relive the World Cup Qatar 2022 again.
