Writer And Director Mike Cahill On His Concept For The Film Bliss [Exclusive Interview]

Mike Cahill Interview For His Film Bliss

What is it that really makes us happy? Would it be living care-free with all our obligations taken care of by others or even machines? Or is it the pursuit of happiness that is most fulfilling? Could it be that it’s the journey to our goal that brings genuine happiness? Then do we still need reminders about “how good we have it ” in order to be content and happy with our lives?

These questions are explored in the upcoming Amazon Original Movie, Bliss. This is a mind-bending love story that follows Greg. A recently divorced man whose life is falling apart. Then after a traumatic moment at his job, he meets the enchanting Isabel. A woman that lives in the streets and believes that the world around them is not real, but a simulation. On the outside is the beautiful, peaceful “real” world of bliss. Greg then goes on a journey to discover the truth behind her claims and has his life turned upside down in the process.
