Mando S3 writers revealed, plus Boba Fett spotted as the show arrived at Brazil’s CCXP event this weekend. Boba Fett was spotted in a new trailer which was shown to attendees. The writers of each episode of The Mandalorian Season 3 were officially listed soon after the event on the WGA site.
First off let’s take a look at the writers for Mando S3. Episodes, 1,2,5,6, and 8 were written by series creator Jon Favreau solo. Noah Kloor gets a credit alongside Favreau on Episode 3 and fellow exec producer Dave Filoni is credited alongside Favreau on Episodes 4 and 7.
Now, whilst nothing here is surprising in any way, it has already started speculation among fans. In previous seasons of Mando fans have been able to accurately predict certain events based on where Filoni shows up as a writing credit. Or, which episodes Filoni directs. It is highly likely Filoni will once again direct at least one episode of Season 3. It’s also most likely it will either be episode 4 or 7, or both. For now that all means very little. However if Ashoka is going to show up in Season 3, then it will likely be one of those two episodes. Just for the record, we have no idea if Ahsoka shows up yet.
As for the Boba Fett thing? Well as said above fans saw a new trailer not yet released online at the event. Those who were in attendance are claiming that Boba Fett was definitely seen in the trailer. If so, that’s our first indication Boba Fett appears in Mando S3. Fett’s inclusion is hardly a big surprise, however it’s still new information.
Series creator Jon Favreau also told audience at CCXP that many directors were returning that had worked on previous seasons. However those directors were not as yet named, we know one of them is Carl Weathers.
What do you think as the Mando S3 writers revealed? Are you happy Boba Fett has been spotted in the new trailer? Thoughts below as always, if you can.
