Edgar Ramirez steps into a family film for the first time in Yes Day on Netflix. A story based on a kids book of the same title written by Amy Krouse Rosenthal.
The Synopsis
Always feeling like they have to say NO to their kids and co-workers, Allison (Jennifer Garner, “Alias”) and Carlos (Edgar Ramirez, “Gold”) decide to give their three kids a YES DAY — where for 24 hours the kids make the rules. Little did they know that they’d be going on a whirlwind adventure around Los Angeles, that would bring the family closer to each other than ever before.
Edgar Ramirez found success in 2003 with the telenovela Cosita Rica from Venezuela’s largest television network, Venevision. His debut in Hollywood was with Domino, playing Choco, Domino Harvey’s love interest played by Kaira Knightley. Since then he has been between successful American and Latin projects like Carlos, Deliver Us From Evil, Point Break and Gold. He was last seen in the HBO’s mini series The Undoing. In July he can be spotted in Disney’s film Jungle Cruise with Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt.

I had a pleasant chat with Edgar Ramirez to talk about Yes Day. He talked about his reasons for saying ‘yes’ to this film, the cast’s great chemistry and working with the director Miguel Arteta. In addition, in theme of the film he shared what is his favorite song to sing in the car and if he is a yes or no person.
Yes Day will be available on Netflix as of March 12, 2021
