Yes Disney+ Has Day One Tech Issues, Yes They Are Dealing With It

As sure as the sun will set, new services will have tech issues. And if you’re as big a company as Disney — and have as many lucrative properties to offer on day one as them — you are bound to have a bit of a server issue. Fellow LRM Online contributor Kyle Malone and I have discussed several times how we fully expect the first few days to be a bit of a pain.

And, as it turns out, that’s exactly what’s happened, with Disney+ having tech difficulties, prompting users to log out and log back in. Some users had problems loading the site on their computers but had a hard time accessing the app.

Around 7 AM PT, Disney said the following:

“The consumer demand for Disney+ has exceeded our high expectations. We are working to quickly resolve the current user issue. We appreciate your patience.”
