Zachary Levi Has Seen Shazam’s Costume

Like it or not, the DC Extended Universe seems to still be moving forward. Coming up next on their slate of productions is the unexpected Shazam! Sure, this has been on DC’s slate for some time, but given how much the studio is struggling with established characters, shifting to one of their lesser-known properties seems like a weird turn, especially for Warners.

That being said, the film looks to be happening — and according to actor Zachary Levi, who is set to play the superhero, he’s even seen the costume, as he revealed when asked via Twitter.

Here’s what he said:

I like it. It’s a short, simple, unambiguous answer. And in a world where everything in the DCEU seems to be up in the air, this is a nice, fresh reprieve. It also seems to confirm what both he and director David F. Sandberg have been saying for weeks — that Justice league hasn’t slowed down their development.
