Not to be mean or anything, but I am starting to think that Zack Snyder likes the attention he is getting. He has slowly been releasing all kinds of behind-the-scenes images and information about his version of Warner Bros. Pictures’ Justice League. This is also known as the Snyder Cut. At the end of March he held a live stream event via Vero featuring Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Here he also released more BTS information about the film. As a fan of the film, it was interesting to find out more about Snyder’s vision.

Now it looks like he is ready to do another watch party. This time with the film that kicked off the DCEU, 2013’s Man of Steel. He announced via his Twitter account today. It will take place this Wednesday, May 20th at 8 am PST on Vero. You can check out his Tweet below!

Warner Bros. Pictures’ Man of Steel starred Henry Cavill as the title character Clark Kent aka Superman. It also starred Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, and Russell Crowe. This reboot for the Man of Steel featured a darker take on the character’s origin. This film received mixed reviews from both critics and fans. Long time Superman had many issues with the way their beloved hero was portrayed. Especially when he killed General Zod. Despite that it was a box office success as it grossed over $668 million worldwide. The success of this film, made it possible to make the sequel Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The timing of this watch party is very interesting. Over the weekend the big news was that his Snyder Cut had been screened sometime in February. This is leading to rumors that DC and WB executives are looking to see what they can do with the film. I am sure that there will be many joining the watch party just to see if he drops and more information about what is going on with that.
