We all remember that moment in The Last Jedi when Luke Skywalker faded away. What was Luke thinking at the time? Many fans have pondered that very question, and now we finally have an answer. Writer on Marvel’s The Last Jedi comic, Gary Whitta, shared his favorite page from the six-issue series. You can check out the post below.
Well it’s out in the wild as of today so here’s my favorite page from the entire six-issue run of Marvel’s #TheLastJedi. I got all of the feels writing this. Art and color by @Mister_Walsh @SpicerColor pic.twitter.com/xdTOzBslg4

“And so it ends the way it began. By the light of two suns.”

The Last Jedi is easily the most divisive film in the saga splitting the fandom down the middle, and part of is the portrayal of a much older version of one of the franchise’s most beloved characters. I don’t think I will ever be happy with the way Master Jedi Luke Skywalker became one with the Force, however, the above words do make it slightly better, as I find them to be very fitting words for Luke’s end. I just feel Luke could have gone out in so many other, and frankly better ways under two suns.
Luke is just one of many problems I have with the film, but that’s another article.
