We are less than two weeks away from M. Night Shyamalan’s feature thriller, Knock at the Cabin. Based on what we have seen in the trailers, audiences are going to have to unravel the mystery of how this one family, could possibly save the world. But the choice they will be forced to make by a group of strangers can be deemed impossible by most families.
With the release of Knock at the Cabin so close, Universal Pictures has released a featurette titled, “A Look Inside”. Here we find the director and cast talking about the project and what they find fascinating about it. You can check it out below.
When Shyamalan talks about doing big world stories in a small space, my mind immediately went to one of my favorite films, Signs. In this film, the world was being invaded by aliens, but we saw it from the point of view of one family. Now in Knock at the Cabin, we see a potential world-ending event, that we’ll see again from the point of view of one family. That makes me very excited.
Here is the synopsis for Universal Pictures Knock at the Cabin:
While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.
