Not even teaming up with The Avengers can lure Hugh Jackman back to don the claws once more as Wolverine, and the fan casting and search for the next iteration of the character continues. One popular name floating around the internet is Scott Eastwood, the son of Hollywood Legend, Clint Eastwood. The younger Eastwood recently spoke with ScreenRant about the possibility of him playing Wolverine:
“I love Wolverine. He’s one of my favorite comic book characters of all time. He’s a renegade. Total badass renegade. He’s kind of, you know, a loose cannon…doesn’t play by the rules…he’s the kind of character that I love.”

When asked directly if he would play the character if given the chance, Eastwood responded, “100%.”
Eastwood would be a fantastic choice to play the character, he is just about the right age, he has the look, at least he would if he sported the trademark sideburns, and over the last few years he has proved he has the acting chops. I for one, hope that the next version of the character will wear the iconic yellow suit and mask, I think it’s time.
Come on Kevin Feige, have have your people call his people and make this happen.
