Alastair Orr Talks Explosive Horror in Triggered [Exclusive Interview]

Alastair Orr
Triggered

Alastair Orr directed one of the most guilty pleasure horror films of this year.

In Triggered, the film mixed a Saw-like situation of a group of friends strapped with explosives. As the night goes on, the friends must choose on who lives and dies in order to survive.

The movie stars Liesl Ahlers (Friend Request, Daylight), Reine Swart (The Lullaby, Z Nation), Sean Cameron Michael (The Last Days of American Crime), Suraya Rose Santos (Professionals, Fried Barry), Steven John Ward (Vagrant Queen), and Russell Crous (Escape Room). Alastair Orr directed the movie from a script from David D. Jones (The Passenger).

Here’s the official synopsis of the movie:

Nine friends, all harboring a dark secret, go camping in the woods. After a wild night of partying, they wake with suicide bombs strapped to their chests, all with varying times on their countdown clocks. They decide to work out how to disarm the bombs or find help—until they discover they can ‘take’ one another’s time by killing each other.
