This morning, the folks over at the Washington DC Area Film Critics Association (an organization of which our resident critic Fox Troilo is a member) announced their list of winners in various categories for this year. While Netflix may be having a hard time getting credibility for folks at the Oscars, as one of their latest films, Roma, from filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón, took home three major awards in the form of Best Film, Best Director, and Best Cinematography.
One other big winner is A Star is Born, which won not only Best Actor (Bradley Cooper) but Best Actress (Lady Gaga). You can take a look at the full list of winners down below:
