Aquaman’s New Armor Revealed In Promo Image

Jason Mamoa’s depiction of Aquaman may have some fans torn, but he definitely broke campy mold that had surrounded the character.  Whether you liked the interpretation or not, Aquaman is slowly gaining steam.  At the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, an official promo image was released for the James Wan-directed film.

I’m personally excited for the movie.  I think it has good potential, and am intrigued to see the under water adventure.

Reddit user vizgauss got a wonderful shot of the image, which can be seen below:

As you can tell the armor seems a bit more advanced, and still toned down, following what we saw in Justice League.  The film does take place after the previously mentioned events, but we can see that he still is not carrying his known trident.  Could he possibly obtain this in the movie? I’m sure the eventual trailer will shed more light on our theories.
