The end of Avengers: Infinity War saw half the universe being removed from existence. Among those removed were several well-liked and prominent characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one such character was Black Panther. While there is a good chance T’Challa and the others will return in Avengers 4, producer Nate Moore said in a recent interview with The Huffington Post, he pleaded with the Russo brothers to not kill off Black Panther.

“I knew pretty well what they were talking about and personally urged them to reconsider. But the storytelling made sense, so I love that we got to see a little bit more of Wakanda in that film, and I hope to see how they’re going to resolve that.”

Moore continued:

“I think ultimately it made for a really interesting, almost more complicated ending to that film because of how well ‘Black Panther’ was embraced by audiences. Again, personally painful, but I understand the reasoning.”

As LRM’s own Joseph “Jammer” Medina said in his review of the film, the moment when Black Panther turned to ash was when most fans realized that Thanos’ snap, would somehow be undone in the next film. As most of you know, both Black Panther and Spider-Man have sequels planned, so it is very likely that these two return in Avengers 4.
