Black Panther 2 Looking To Incorporate More Cultures

Black Panther is a ground-breaking film. Especially for the black culture in the film industry. The representation of the culture combing with Marvel’s intricate stories adds to make the film outstanding. While we still have many questions regarding the sequel, and few answers, news continues to trickle out. Even though it is not specific casting news, Marvel is looking to expand their world and incorporate more cultures in Black Panther 2.

Marvel Studios are currently looking for individuals to fill the roles of Zyanya and Cadmael. The roles are labeled as strong supporting characters. Zyanya’s character is said to be a strong warrior and those auditioning should have a background in fighting and dancing. Cadmael’s character will be over six feet tall, strong, and loyal. Both roles are looking for individuals with North or South American indigenous roots.

The character names are not recognizable in the Marvel Universe. So, could they be new characters, or possibly code names? Also, there has been a rumor/speculation that Dr. Doom could be sparking a war between Wakanda and Atlantis. This has the potential to bring in Namor, which could explore another culture in the Marvel world. This actually sounds like a pretty cool idea!

As I mentioned, it is not much to go off of. But, we will take what we can get, right? What do you think of the casting news? How do you think the Mayan characters will fit into Black Panther 2? Leave your thoughts in the usual spot, and thanks for reading!
