Anytime there is anticipation for a film or show, we know rumors are not far behind. Now of course we have to take all rumors with a grain of salt. However, some bring interesting prospects whether they come to fruition or not. At times, the rumors are even more interesting than the final product (Justice League). The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever rumor is no different. The recent rumor suggests how a Marvel classic character could be introduced in the sequel.
Lake Bell is playing someone called Doctor Graham and she and her team are using a device made by Riri Williams to find Vibranium in the ocean. It makes Namor mad and what starts the conflict in Black Panther 2.

Again, take this Black Panther: Wakanda Forever rumor with a grain of salt. However, it could be a cool way to bring Namor The Sub-Mariner into the universe. We know Namor will go to whatever extremes necessary to protect his home of Atlantis and the rest of the oceans. The idea of having this doctor search for Vibranium in the ocean is not far off from the comic origins when Winston Churchill sent individuals to find some.
There is also the House of M storyline where Scarlet Witch alters reality and Namor is idolized by the community. Could WandaVision and Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness play a possible role in Namor‘s emergence?

Being one of the earliest comic figures, I would love to see Namor join the MCU in this way. As always though, it could lead to nothing. What do you think of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever rumor? Do you want to see Namor in the sequel? How would you like to see his introduction to the MCU? Leave your thoughts in the usual spot, and thanks for reading!
