Fans of one of HBO’s earlier hit series, Deadwood, will soon be able return to the western town after more than 10 years. The series was perhaps one of the last shows with a decent following to have an abrupt canceling, as most shows nowadays will get usually get a handful of episodes to close the story out.
In the video at the top of the article you can get an inside, and behind-the-scenes look at the reunions that took place while filming the upcoming Deadwood film. You can check out the video above and some quotes from it down below

John Hawkes:
“This is the best project I’ve ever been a part of, to be back here…it’s emotional.”
Timothy Olyphant :
“To be back, more than a decade later, is really just as good as it gets,”
As I said in a previous article, I was a fan of the show, a long time ago. And as I’ve said before, I barely remember the Season 3, and will have to give it a rewatch before I check this movie out, which I definitely will do.
The Deadwood film premieres on HBO May 31. An official synopsis for the film follows below.
“Former rivalries are reignited, alliances are tested and old wounds reopened as all are left to navigate the inevitable changes that modernity and time have wrought.”
