Director Justin Kurzel’s take on William Shakespeare’s Macbeth has me excited. As I covered when I wrote about the film a few weeks ago, the film will take a more naturalistic, brutal approach towards the material that’s more faithful to the historical period in which it’s based. Now there’s a short, but intense teaser for the film, which stars Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard.

Macbeth is part of this year’s Cannes Film Festival but is expected to get a wider release later this year, with an October premiere in the UK.
