Chris Evans Channels Cap As He Complains About Technology, RDJ And Mark Ruffalo Offer To Help

So we normally don’t cover super fluffy pieces like this on the site (hard-hitting news only!) but this really made me smile so hard I really couldn’t help but share it with all you fine people. After all, we follow a lot of this geek stuff because we connect so much with the characters in these stories, and the actors who play them have inevitably become a big part of that.

Specifically, I’m talking about Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., and Mark Ruffalo, who have portrayed characters Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, and Bruce Banner, respectively, for several years apiece. To many people who haven’t read the comics, these guys ARE the characters, and there’s a little piece of me that also gets warmed when fiction reflects reality.

Very recently, Evans took to Twitter to grieve his frustrations regarding smart devices.

Like all of us, Robert Downey Jr. saw this as the grumblings of a man out of time and offered his and Mark Ruffalo’s assistance in the matter.

Not to be left out, Ruffalo followed up with his own two cents, putting a final punchline to the joke that’s impossible not to love.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate that. Very soon, these actors’ contracts will be up, and once Avengers: Endgame hits theaters later this year, there will be no guarantee the band will ever get back together in its entirety.

Do you get as much joy out of this exchange as I am? Let me know down in the comments below!
