Christian Slater has been in Hollywood for 30 or so years now. He has given viewers some wonderful performances along with numerous memorable characters. Slater brought his voice talents to an episode of the popular AdultSwim series, Rick and Morty, in which he played a character named Vance Maximus. Slater spoke with ComicBookMovie and talked about his experience working on the show.
“I had a great time doing that [Laughs]. Dan Harmon was there and he directed me and told me what to do and I think he enjoyed what I was doing. We just had fun that particular day and it was another one of those situations where I was in a booth and I had to fly into the thing, try to escape, and ended up getting shot to bits. We were both laughing at that particular moment.”

Rick and Morty does seem like it would be a fun show to work on. Slater has always had a fantastic voice, it is instantly recognizable and Maximus was a fun addition to the already brilliant show. Slater’s Maximus character died a gruesome death on the show, and the latest word is the Rick and Morty itself may also be dead. According to a tweet from Dan Harmon from just a few days ago, AdultSwim still hasn’t ordered a fourth season.
