Cobra Kai: Check Out These Photos From Season 3

With all the excitement surrounding The Mandalorian, it’s easy to forget that other television shows do exist. Good ones, such as Cobra Kai. The continuation of the Karate Kid franchise will see its third season released in January. The show surprised many of us with just how good it was, it hit many of us like a crane kick in the finals of the All-Valley Karate Championship. With two seasons of tension built up, Season 3 is going to pack quite a punch.

Some photos for the upcoming season were released and you can find them here

While Daniel LaRusso was the protagonist of the films, I always found him to be a bit, well, pushy. And slmost hard to like protagonist. Yes, JOhnny Lawrence was the classic bad guy, a dick if you will, but LaRusso was one in his own right. And one of the things I love aout Cobra Kai is how they have amplified that Daniel isn’t perfect, and even more so that Johnny Lawrence isn’t that bad.

Sensei John Kreese is set to play a bigger rolethan he has in previous seasons, which is more than likely going to create conflict between him and Johnny Lawrence.

In the 80s, Daniel LaRusso won over moviegoers. The showrunners have taught a masterclass in how to continue a beloved franchise. While nostalgia plays a big part in the series, it’s not a load nearing part of testory, which in my opinion is one reason why Cobra Kai works.
