DC FanDome releases a new teaser!
This year has been especially sad for the pop culture fan geek. We were supposed to be at the tail end of con season right now, but instead, we’ve been stuck at home. And, in spite of the great lengths San Diego Comic-Con went to create a home experience, it paled in comparison. However, there is one studio out there hoping to salvage what they can from the pandemic-laden atmosphere. I’m talking about Warner Bros.
The studio will be putting on the DC FanDome event, and as the name indicates, it will be DC-centric in nature. We honestly don’t really know what sort of big announcements to expect, but the studio has a LOT in the works. From its handful of movies to its countless live-action and TV shows, there’s a lot of potential there. Now, Warner Bros. has shared the first teaser for the event, which you can check out below!
Sadly, there was nothing here that indicates what they plan on showing. Right now, two big movies that are currently in some stage of production are The Batman and The Suicide Squad. We already know The Suicide Squad is having its first look there. Plus, given how quickly they tend to turn things around for Comic-Con, I’d be surprised if we didn’t see something from The Batman. And we can’t forget about Zack Snyder and Dwayne Johnson, both of whom will be in attendance for Justice League and Black Adam.
And we can’t forget about Wonder Woman 1984, which should have already been out. Perhaps this event could reveal some big PVOD plan in the near future? We’ve already seen Disney blink first with the release of Mulan on Disney+. Perhaps Warner Bros. can do something similar via HBO Max.
