There’s a good chance the film will show the wrestling icon at the height of his fame in the time of Hulkamania. One of, if not the main driving force that took pro wrestling to new heights Hulk Hogan is an icon of the sports entertainment world. I grew up during the 80s, and witnessed the rise of the Hulkster was pretty much the face of what was once called WWF.
As long Hemsworth can capture the attitude and the voice of the Hulkster, this should make for a fine bit of casting. Hemsworth has stated that even though he was fit and bulky enough to play Marvel’s Thor, he has plans to add on more mass on for the role. Other iconic wrestlers will likely be portrayed in the film as well.
I can hear Hogan’s walk-up song playing now, I imagine many of you can as well.
