Diesel To Mo-Cap Groot In Thor: Love and Thunder | Barside Buzz

Will Vin Diesel play a mo-cap Groot in Thor: Love and Thunder? Previous Diesel has only provided voice work for the character of Groot. It was therefore surprising when reports came in that Diesel was quarantining in Australia prior to shooting Thor: Love and Thunder. A new report from DanielRPK says that on this film Diesel is doing the mo-cap work, ergo he needs to be in Australia.

We picked the report up from Marvel News Brazil as below. Here is a link to Richtman’s Patreon though a subscription is required to view information.

This might seem like a no-brainer, but that’s not the case. For now, this a merely a rumor, but one thing is clear. Vin Diesel is quarantining in Australia, alongside fellow Guardians star Chris Pratt and they are going to be in Thor: Love and Thunder.

Groot In Thor: Love and Thunder

As for how much the Guardians of the Galaxy might be in Thor: Love and Thunder, we don’t know? This could be a few scenes of the Guardians dropping Thor off somewhere, or it could be they are in the whole movie? So far it has to be said there are no hints that Dave Bautista, or Bradley Cooper for that matter are in Thor 4. Pom Klementieff (Mantis) is currently filming the next Mission: Impossible movie, so it seems unlikely Mantis will show up. All we know currently is that we will see  Star Lord and Groot in Thor: Love and Thunder.

I guess we will just have to wait and see? Though Thor was with the Guardians the last time we saw the character. It does therefore make sense for some of the Guardians to show up in Thor: Love and Thunder as well.
