There may be some evidence to suggest Godzilla Vs Kong is delayed till May of next year. Godzilla Vs Kong is currently scheduled for release on November 17 of this year. However, fans have wondered whether that release date will be delayed due to COVID-19? Now a new book listing has ramped up speculation that a delay announcement is coming.
A user on Reddit has posted an image showing that The Art of Godzilla Vs Kong, which was originally set for November has a new release date in May, 2021. Check it out.

This is not a smoking gun as such, but it seems likely that Godzilla Vs Kong is delayed. It’s pretty obvious that this companion book was supposed to hit shelves during the movie’s release. If that book has been delayed till May, it seems likely there’s a reason for that? There could of course be some other issue causing the delay of this art book. Perhaps worries about shops being open, or problems with printing the books in time could be a factor? I must say I do find those reasons less likely than the fact the book is delayed due to the movie also being delayed. As you will see in the related section below, this would be the second time Godzilla Vs Kong has been delayed.

This would not be the first movie to get delayed by Coronavirus, not even as far as November. Fans have guessed that Godzilla Vs Kong could be taking the date previously held by The Matrix 4 in May. The Matrix 4 production was certainly delayed by Coronavirus and hasn’t started back up yet. There’s nothing official yet on this potential delay, but it seems like the evidence is mounting up. I expect something officially announced within the next few weeks, so stay tuned for more details.
