Game of Thrones – Photos From Season 8 Episode 2

I never really thought that a television show could give a person anxiety, but Game of Thrones proved me wrong. Last week’s premiere was a wonderful hour of reunion long-awaited reunions, humor, and of course what is perhaps the last bit of table setting fans will see on the show.

You all better get ready because on Sunday, it’s going to get rough. First off, I am generally scared for Jaime. I think this is the most vulnerable he has ever been. Sure, he’s been in bad situations before but this time there’s no Tywin to turn to, no Cersei, as he has broken ties with her and her status as queen doesn’t really mean much anymore.

Perhaps worst of all, he is basically in the dragon’s den. It’s not going to be easy to convince Daeneryes not to kill him, even though he did the Seven Kingdoms a favor by killing the Night King, I don’t think Daenerys will see it that way. Also, her lust for power is getting to the point where it’s going to be a huge issue, if not be already.

I think one of two things will happen. Bran will speak up and say Jaime is needed in the coming war, or vouch for him in some other way. Another likely possibilty in my opinion is that Tyrion will (of course) stand up for his brother. And in doing so will be charged with treason by Daenerys and sentenced to death along with Jaime. I don’t think this wilplay out though, because I expect the White Walkers to show up at the end of the episode, and once they do it’s going to be chaos.
